1. Supplier and payment roles
Embedded Doctor is supplied under the emdev4fun brand. Contact emdev4fun@gmail.com. Paddle Live charging is not enabled. Any checkout currently available is for Paddle Sandbox testing and does not create a real charge.
Paddle is the Merchant of Record and handles payments, applicable tax, receipts, subscription billing, and payment-refund processing. emdev4fun provides the software, trial, licensing, and product support.
2. Public downloads and separate trial
Installers are publicly available without an account, payment, or license lookup. Downloading does not start the trial. The 30-day trial starts when the app first runs successfully. It requires no payment method and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription.
3. Starter, Plus, and Pro recurring subscriptions
The paid product is a monthly or annual subscription and does not grant permanent use. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled before the next renewal date, and Paddle charges the currency, tax, and recurring total shown at checkout. Monthly prices are USD 19, 99, and 199; annual prices are USD 190, 990, and 1990. Starter, Plus, and Pro support 2, 3, and 5 devices respectively. All three plans currently include the same paid features.
Buyers can use the Paddle customer portal to update payment details, view billing, or cancel renewal. Cancellation is not a refund: it normally prevents the next automatic renewal, while current access usually continues through the paid subscription period. Plan changes and proration follow the details Paddle displays before confirmation.
4. Authorization code, devices, and offline use
Each verified subscription receives one recoverable authorization code. Starter, Plus, and Pro allow activation on 2, 3, and 5 devices respectively. An upgrade can add device capacity; after a downgrade, devices above the new allowance may need to be selected again or deactivated.
An eligible subscription supports up to 7 days of continuous offline use and never beyond the paid period or payment-recovery deadline. The app must reconnect to verify the subscription after that offline period.
5. Past due, paused, canceled, and expired states
The payment-recovery period is at most 7 days from the first past-due observation and does not extend paid entitlement. No new paid access is provided for a paused or expired subscription, a full refund of the current period, an effective chargeback, or a confirmed ineligibility decision. A canceled subscription still inside a paid period normally works through that period.
6. License and restrictions
This project is proprietary software and is not licensed under MIT. Except where applicable law expressly allows it, users may not resell, sublicense, publish source code, bypass technical protection, or provide a shared-license service. Users retain rights provided by law in their input data and analysis results.
7. Refunds, support, and mandatory rights
Refunds follow the Refund Policy and Paddle's Merchant of Record process. emdev4fun aims to give an initial support response within three business days. Nothing here excludes applicable cooling-off rights, defective-product remedies, consumer protection, or other rights that cannot be waived.
